Why Join?

We have a raft of benefits that have been devised to enhance your present regional and/or local “clustering”

A Register of Members. This is an obvious first and important step. It will be based on a searchable database and list your specific location(s) and what goods and services you can offer. It will be interactive and encourage partnering within your cluster

A daily Newsletter with relevant stories, articles and a news feed. Content will be carefully chosen to ensure its relevance to the clustering audience

A dedicated IAMC website, which is already under construction and will centralise all we have to offer. It will be interactive and will have important membership information to increase the chance of more interested parties joining and boosting the Association’s effectiveness.

Our dedicated Association Management Company – Elaborate Communications Ltd – will handle the day-to-day operations, reporting to the Board of Governance of the Association.

This company has over 30 years experience within the maritime sector and is well known and respected.

Further content will include all the relevant information for clusters. This will feature relevant legislative and governmental developments that may impact the sector. Here we consider the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) to be central to this news feed. Relevant events will feature in a Diary that is constantly updated. Next, we will publicise legal and cluster advice relevant to certain issues of interest and importance. For example: if there is a rule change in Greece for bunker suppliers what will this mean and what are the implications? For this aspect of the web site we will actively seek and encourage knowledgeable members to contribute explanatory articles in their sphere of expertise.

We will be staging quarterly meetings open to all where key issues are debated and discussed. Experienced “clusterers” will be invited to form a stage panel and audience participation will be actively encouraged.

Expansion of this quarterly programme will include webinars and/or podcasts, both areas in which the management company excels elsewhere in the maritime world. These will focus on the area of “best practice” where the clusters can debate and discuss issues of common interest and concern to them.

This active and inter-active programme will culminate in a bi-annual face-to-face conference that will also focus on networking amongst the clusterers with a view to establishing new business relationships that share commonality.

Most popular is bound to be that Conference’s proposed bi-annual Gala Dinner which will attract an entertaining after-Dinner speaker to conclude a truly glittering event.

A series of Monthly Lectures Programme that will cover the globe with a different location each month. In addition, it will be live streamed on the IAMC Web Site so everyone will have the chance to view it.
